A 41-year-old woman died as a result of injuries from an incident that occurred Friday, Apr. 10 in the 6100 block of Asher Court. Officers responded to a home shortly after 10 a.m. to find Jaehee Pak, of Centreville, unresponsive in her driveway. Fire and Rescue personnel treated her at the scene and she was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit have preliminarily determined that Pak parked in her driveway and stepped out of her SUV. The SUV rolled forward and pinned her between the garage and the SUV. A family member from inside the home was able to access the SUV to move it and free her. Pak succumbed to her injuries on Apr. 15. Detectives do not suspect foul play.
