The woman killed by her estranged husband in Friday’s 5 p.m. murder-suicide at her mother’s home on Bonnaspring Drive in Hermitage is identified as Beverly McPherson, 42.
The investigation shows that the estranged husband, Antwaund Cartwright, 39, came to the residence and argued with McPherson before going outside and retrieving a shotgun. He fatally shot McPherson in the living room before killing himself moments later. Three other persons in the residence were not injured.
