Cobb County, Georgia — A Harrison High School student has died following a freak camping accident Friday night.<\/p>\n

According to WSB-TV<\/a>, 16-year-old Joelle Dalgleish was fatally injured when a ‘tree that was holding the hammock in which she was sleeping snapped and fell on her around 11:30 p.m. at Red Top Mountain State Park.’<\/p>\n

Dalgleish was on the school\u2019s cross country team.<\/p>\n
