She was dubbed Public Enemy #1 by Baltimore Police in September of 2016 and was found guilty of two counts of attempted second degree murder and two counts of using a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence. Baltimore City jurors also found Daughton guilty of possessing a regulated firearm after being convicted of a disqualifying crime.<\/p>\n<p>Daughton had been involved in an ongoing dispute with two women during the summer of 2016. On September 5, 2016, tensions between Daughton and her associates and the two women and their associates culminated in a standoff at the 2600 block of East Monument Street in East Baltimore\u2019s Madison-Eastend neighborhood. The two groups confronted one another and began arguing. The crowd then moved to a side street where weapons were eventually drawn and a shootout ensued.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-111394\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"maxresdefault (1)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/maxresdefault-1-1-747x420.jpg 747w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s absurd that fistfights are escalating to gun battles on our streets, where young people are indiscriminately losing their lives.\u201d State\u2019s Attorney Mosby said.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Smalls was killed in the altercation. Two women\u2014who were not armed\u2014were shot as well.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation revealed that Daughton was responsible for shooting the two women.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHeinous crimes deserve substantial punishment and I believe that is exactly what was handed down at this sentencing.
