UPDATE: British Transport Police say there appears to have been a ‘small contained explosion’ at London’s Euston Station; No injuries – LBC<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The Euston railway station in central London was evacuated Tuesday due to what officials were calling a ‘security alert.’<\/p>\n

The station, located on Euston Road in the London Borough of Camden, is closed until further notice.<\/p>\n

Witnesses reported people scrambling to get out as armed police and bomb units moved in—the exact nature of the threat was not known.<\/p>\n
