Corrigan has sentenced Chad Theodore Dillon (45, Okaloosa County) to 40 years in federal prison for online enticement of a child to engage in sexual activity. The Court also ordered him to forfeit the 2006 Ford F-150 truck he had used to meet a victim.<\/p>\n<p>Dillon pleaded guilty on January 18, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents, this investigation began in April 2016, when an agent from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted an undercover investigation to identify users of a particular app who were attempting to entice and sexually exploit children. On April 22, 2016, an FDLE undercover agent published a post that read, \u201cBeing 13 and being alone is just no fun at all.\u201d Within a few minutes, the agent received a private message from \u201cIce Whale,\u201d that read, \u201cR u m or f?,\u201d which initiated a conversation between the two. During the conversation, \u201cIce Whale,\u201d later determined to be Dillon, repeatedly solicited the \u201cchild\u201d for sexual acts.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_112279\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-112279\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-112279\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/636071250542806377-Dontonio-Thornton-Trial.jpg\" alt=\"Pensacola News Journal\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/636071250542806377-Dontonio-Thornton-Trial.jpg 300w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/636071250542806377-Dontonio-Thornton-Trial-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-112279\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pensacola News Journal<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dillon also offered to have sex with the \u201cchild\u2019s\u201d 12-year-old \u201cfriend,\u201d who he believed to be sleeping over at the \u201cchild\u2019s\u201d house. He also claimed to have had sex with 12-year-olds a \u201ccouple times.\u201d Dillon provided his cellphone number to the \u201cchild\u201d and claimed that his name was \u201cCory.\u201d Despite repeated conversation, Dillon declined to meet with the \u201cchild\u201d for the sexual encounter discussed. However, further investigation revealed that Dillon had previously solicited a 13-year-old child online to produce nude images of herself.<\/p>\n<p>After determining that \u201cIce Whale\u201d was Dillon, FDLE agents obtained a warrant for Dillon\u2019s cellphone and found chat messages revealing he had traveled to Georgia to have sex with a minor, and had enticed a different child to produce pornography and to meet him for sex.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jacksonville, Florida \u2013 U.S. District Judge Timothy J.
