Meet Paul Bogan. Paul is currently receiving treatment for PTSD in Bandera, Texas. He is a 4-year Marine Corps veteran and currently a Law Enforcement Officer of 26 years. Paul has been credited with saving lives and always being the “one you can always count on”, taking his job seriously and bringing honor to the badge.

During Paul’s time in therapy, he partnered with a program called Operation Overwatch that connects Veterans and Warriors with service dogs. This program takes rescue dogs and pairs them up with a Veteran to assist them with daily tasks such as waking them up or easing them to sleep. The program is very excited about Bogan’s treatment and partnership with his new best friend, Comanche and the relationship between them has become unbreakable.

Paul’s medical team and family believe securing Comanche as his official service dog will be an integral part of his success and Operation Overwatch has committed to match every fundraiser dollar for dollar. Paul and Comanche are a great example of all the hard work going into battling PTSD and bring back the simple joys of life, like playing with your best friend.
