CAHOKIA ILLINOIS — Howard Sutton, a WWII veteran and long time resident of Cahokia was found deceased during an early morning house fire at his residence on Wednesday October 18, 2017 at 1:30 am.<\/p>\n
After an initial investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshall\u2019s office, and from evidence found during an autopsy performed on Sutton, there were “circumstances found to be suspicious enough to investigate this incident as a homicide,” police said.<\/p>\n
