GEORGIA — A large power outage struck Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Sunday—prompting the FAA to declare a ground stop.<\/p>\n

Officials say the outage occurred at 12:55 p.m.<\/p>\n

Multiple airlines have canceled all flights for the remainder of the day. WiFi and cell phone service were also affected.<\/p>\n

“A power outage has impacted several areas in the airport,” the facility wrote on social media. “#ATL officials are working to remedy the situation. Additional updates to come…”<\/p>\n
