During the field investigation, Officers learned a current IMPD Recruit Officer may have been involved in the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The caller informed officers that a suspect who she believed to be an IMPD Officer pointed a firearm and chocked her boyfriend in a fight over $30 that she borrowed from him.<\/p>\n<p>The results of this investigation concluded and a warrant was issued for Moussa Niang. The Marion County Prosecutor\u2019s Office charged Niang with Strangulation, Pointing a Firearm, and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Bryan Roach terminated Niang\u2019s employment with the IMPD.
