JACKSONVILLE, Florida — A Florida middle school teacher has been arrested for sending nude photos and explicit messages to children–including students, police say.<\/p>\n

Kristopher Beckstrom, 42, Landon Middle School music teacher, is accused of sending and soliciting sexually explicit photos to and from minors across the country. Police say he posed as a 15-year-old boy during the chats.<\/p>\n

Officers say\u00a0Beckstrom created a fake Instagram account posing as a boy with the profile name \u201cerikb20172018.\u201d He also made contact with minors via Snapchat. The profile for the Snapchat was the same, \u201cerikb20172018.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beckstrom was allegedly targeting random people on the internet as well as past students, police say.<\/p>\n

Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking anyone who believes they have been victimized to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office at 904-630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.<\/p>\n
