LOS ANGELES — A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in the parking lot of the Rose Bowl.<\/p>\n
Miguel Castaneda of Los Angeles faces one count of murder with an allegation of using a knife as a deadly and dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n
Also charged is Valentina Rosales of Pasadena. She faces one count of accessory after the fact.<\/p>\n
The criminal complaint includes allegations that Castaneda was convicted in 2017 for vehicle theft with a prior and Rosales was convicted in 2015 for second-degree robbery.<\/p>\n
Victim Demetrio Tapia Jr., 22, was allegedly stabbed to death during a fight on Oct. 1, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n
Bail for Castaneda is set at more than $2 million and at more than $1 million for Rosales. If convicted as charged, Castaneda faces a possible maximum sentence of 27 years to life in state prison. Rosales faces up to six years in prison.<\/p>\n
