Inmate Missing After Corrections Officer Found Dead; State Issues &#8216;Blue Alert&#8217; For Third Time Ever"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Statewide Tennessee Blue Alert for Curtis Ray Watson.<\/p>\n<p>Watson is listed as a person of interest in the homicide of a Tennessee Department of Correction employee on August 7th, 2019 and is an escapee from the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>Officer responded to a homicide at a home on Highway 87 across from the prison when they discovered the inmate was missing.<\/p>\n<p>Watson has previous convictions for especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated child abuse and aggravated rape.
