A 15-year-old Philadelphia boy was shot 17 times in a double shooting Monday, Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said. Officials say the boy is alive and is in stable condition.<\/p>\n
The teen suffered gunshot wounds throughout his body. Another boy, also 15, was struck once in the leg.<\/p>\n
The gunfire broke out in the 1000 block of Cambridge Street around 8:30 p.m. local time. The teens ran into a nearby house where the residents helped them, reports say.<\/p>\n
Investigators found 20 shell casings at the scene.<\/p>\n
