This is <a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/police-officer-bus-driver-shot-in-kansas-city-suspect-in-custody\/\">the second officer shot in the city today<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A department spokesperson said officers were called to a &#8220;disturbance&#8221; near 31st and Van Brunt and upon officers arriving, the suspect fled and officers pursed on foot. The suspect began shooting at officers and they returned fire.
