Crump, 22, with felony reckless aggravated assault in connection with Sunday\u2019s 1 a.m. gunfire at 2nd Avenue North and Commerce Street that wounded or grazed 8 innocent bystanders, none critically.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous interviews and follow up by detectives from the precinct and the Specialized Investigations Division\u2019s Crime Gun Unit led to Crump\u2019s Madison home. He was cooperative and admitted to shooting a 9 millimeter pistol. The gun was recovered from the home.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"8 people shot in Tennessee\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aY5E1PK9ETg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>WSMV <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsmv.com\/news\/davidson_county\/man-arrested-in-shooting-that-injured-8-in-downtown-nashville\/article_81a139d0-21dd-11eb-ac17-7b4ad7238ae7.html\">reported<\/a>: <em>Police said several persons were gathered in the area when the two suspects reportedly began arguing over a dog that was with one of the men. The man with the dog allegedly pulled out a handgun during the dispute.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The second suspect then left but returned a few minutes later armed with a gun and accompanied by several other men. There was an exchange of gunfire between the parties.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>At the time of the gunfire, Crump was involved in a dispute with another man who also fired shots.
