Officers discovered Tonia Yamileth Zavaleta, 25, dead in an upstairs bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>Zavaleta\u2019s cause of death was listed as &#8220;a stab wound and blunt force trauma to the neck.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Detectives say Edwin Zavaleta allegedly killed his girlfriend before &#8220;staging it to appear as a suicide.&#8221; He was arrested and transported to the Camden County Correctional Facility awaiting a detention hearing.<\/p>\n<p>A motive for the attack was not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Camden Man, Edwin Zavaleta, Killed Girlfriend, Then Tampered With Scene: Prosecutors\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z_dohdcypAw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Camden, N.J. \u2013 The boyfriend of a woman found dead inside her Camden home on Monday has been charged in her death.
