EVERETT, WA \u2013 Detectives are investigating a shooting incident\u00a0 in Everett.<\/p>\n
At about 3:30 p.m. last Tuesday, officers responded to the 11300 block of 19th Ave SE on the report of an assault with a weapon.<\/p>\n
Arriving officers discovered an adult male had been shot. The unidentified man, in his early 30\u2019s, was taken to a local hospital where he later died from the injuries.<\/p>\n
Witnesses say the suspect was walking his dog when he started yelling and became aggressive towards people walking on the sidewalk around Silver Lake. One individual was a grandmother and her young granddaughter.<\/p>\n
Several men were nearby and attempted to intervene but were pepper sprayed and struck with a metal baton by the man.<\/p>\n
One of the interveners was armed with a pistol and shot the man twice.<\/p>\n
