Sheppard was wanted by the East Cleveland Police Department (ECPD) for homicide.<\/p>\n<p>According to ECPD, on September 16, 2022, Sheppard and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation near a home in the 1800 block of Garfield Rd. Sheppard then struck the victim with a beer can. The victim was found days later deceased in his apartment after a welfare check.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the NOVFTF began working the investigation shortly after a warrant was issued for Sheppard\u2019s arrest. Sheppard was also featured at the fugitive of the week earlier this month. Today, investigators were able to locate and arrest Sheppard at a home in the 9500 block of Detroit Rd. in Cleveland.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Marshals Pete Elliott stated, \u201cThe violence perpetrated by offenders such as this will not be tolerated by our community members, or our law enforcement partners.
