Hackensack, NJ – At a New Jersey mall on Wednesday, five women suffered from a drug overdose, most likely due to fentanyl, leaving one woman still in serious condition, police said.

Emergency responders were called to The Shops at Riverside mall where the women were found unconscious outside a car in the parking garage.

Cops, firefighters, and EMS administered Narcan and performed CPR, successfully reviving all five women.

Four of the victims were taken to the hospital, while one refused medical assistance on site.

It was unclear how the women ingested the substance. It’s possible that they were unaware of what they ingested, police said.

According to Hackensack Police Director Ray Guidetti, all of the women worked at the mall.
