The Taliban had a detailed hit list\u00a0of students that it used for the December 16 attack on a Peshawar school. The Taliban’s Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP confirmed the existence of\u00a0such a list in an email\u00a0on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
“More than 50 sons of important army officers were killed after being identified,” the email said<\/a>. \u00a0“The\u00a0auditorium where students of secondary and higher secondary sections were being taught first aid was targeted.\u201d<\/p>\n The Taliban\u00a0took the lives of 132 children and nine staff.<\/p>\n Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif responded to the attack promising that government forces would find those responsible, the Associated Press reported.<\/p>\n \u201cThe fight will continue.
