SANTA Clarita, California -Newhall- The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced the heinous crime Tuesday.<\/p>\n
30-year-old Matthew Brendan Warner was arrested after the infant was reported missing.<\/p>\n
Officials found the dead baby in his pick-up truck.<\/p>\n
According to KTLA:<\/p>\n
“Warner was charged with murder, assault on a child causing death, torture, oral copulation or sexual penetration with a child 10 years or younger, and aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney\u2019s Office.”<\/em><\/p>\n Warner is being held<\/a> on $2.25 Million bail.<\/p>\n \n Newhall<\/b> is the southernmost and oldest district of Santa Clarita, California<\/a>.<\/p>\n Prior to the 1987 consolidation of Canyon Country<\/a>,Saugus<\/a>, Newhall, and other geographically proximate settlements into the conglomerate city of Santa Clarita, it was an independent but unincorporated<\/a> town.<\/p>\n It was the first permanent Anglo<\/a> settlement in the valley. The Lyons Station Stagecoach Stop<\/a> was located where the town now stands.<\/p>\n
