OCALA, Florida —\u00a0Police responded to a call that a 20-month-old boy had been cut, Sgt. Michael Sommer said, and by the time officers arrived the boy’s father had taken him to the hospital.<\/p>\n
From interviewing people at the scene, officers determined that Larry Leroy Floyd, 24, the boy’s uncle, had allegedly tried to circumcise him with a kitchen knife.<\/p>\n
Floyd was arrested and charged with domestic aggravated battery, Sommer said.<\/p>\n
Floyd has a history of arrests including charges of drug possession, domestic violence, armed robbery, trespassing and aggravated stalking of a child.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
