PLACENTIA, California —\u00a0 El Dorado High School —\u00a01641 Valencia Ave. —<\/p>\n

The teacher, 31-year-old Jillian Jacobson, was found hanging after a fellow teacher let students into the locked classroom shortly before class started Monday morning. She was a Photography teacher and had worked at the school for 10 years.<\/p>\n

The teacher was in full cardiac arrest when the horrified students and staff made the discovery.<\/p>\n

16-year-old, Frank Leon said\u00a0that his teacher was screaming, ‘Oh my God, oh my God!’<\/p>\n

A staff member cut the woman down and called 911. CPR was performed at the scene but was unsuccessful. She was declared dead at the school.<\/p>\n

Police are investigating as a suicide.\u00a0No note was left and detectives were not sure why she had committed suicide, KTLA reported. Jacobson’s husband has been notified of her death.<\/p>\n

Multiple students told the OC Register that Jacobson’s father killed himself, and she that she always urged teens not to resort to suicide.<\/p>\n
