HATTIESBURG, Mississippi — 22-year-old Jimmy Brady Jr. was taken into custody\u00a0Friday night by the ATF\u00a0and charged with possession of a stolen firearm, WDAM reported. He was booked into the Forrest County Jail. No further details were available about Brady’s arrest. He is the eighth suspect arrested in the shooting death of two Officers in Hattiesburg.<\/p>\n
From WDAM: “Douglas Mcphail, 21, the seventh suspect, was charged with obstruction of justice. He was arrested Friday afternoon in Hattiesburg, and has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.<\/em> Earlier Report:\u00a0Two Police Officers were shot after an altercation on Saturday. The two Officers have since died from their injuries. The suspects have been named as Curtis & Marvin Banks. A massive manhunt is underway. 29-year-old Marvin Banks was been apprehended at a North Gate Inn, his brother Curtis, 26, was captured at an apartment complex. A female, Joanie Calloway, 22, was also arrested.<\/p>\n Marvin Banks and Calloway have been charged with two counts each of capital murder, and Curtis Banks is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact to capital murder, The Clarion-Ledger reported. A motive has not been released as the investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n After the shooting that occurred after a routine traffic stop, the suspects fled the scene in an officer’s vehicle. It has since been found abandoned near rail road tracks. Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict confirmed the deaths of the Officers. The slain Officers have been identified as Benjamin J. Deen, 34 & Liquori Tate, 25.<\/p>\n
\nAnquanette L. Alexander, 19, the sixth suspect, was also arrested and is being held on obstruction of justice charges.”<\/em><\/p>\n
