The Officer had been shot. His name has not been released. Police say he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p>The officer was 38 years old and a 16-year veteran of HPD, the report said.\u00a0He leaves behind a wife and two children.<\/p>\n<p>This story will be updated as more information becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>George Bush Park is a county park in Houston, Texas in the United States. It covers 7,800 acres.
