NASHVILLE — North Precinct detectives are investigating the early Sunday morning fatal shooting of 17-year-old Brandon Williams inside a crowded night club at 1402 Arctic Avenue.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to Kilimanjaro night club at 1 a.m. and found Williams lying unresponsive on the dance floor.\u00a0 Williams, of 12th Avenue North, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.<\/p>\n
Although a very large crowd was gathered inside the club at the time of the shooting, most persons were gone when officers arrived.<\/p>\n
The suspect is described as a black man in his mid to late 20s with shoulder length dreadlocks.\u00a0 At the time of the shooting he wore a red and white striped shirt and blue jeans. He is approximately 5\u20196\u201d-5\u201911\u201d tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.<\/p>\n
