Pilots were able to visually confirm that two six foot long sharks were seen fifteen feet from the shoreline swimming in a easterly direction towards Gilgo Beach in Suffolk County. All Tobay Beach swimmers were ordered out of the waters until later deemed safe. There were no injuries reported.&#8211;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>No one was injured or made contact with a shark.<\/p>\n<p>From NBC 4 NY: &#8212;<em>A lifeguard initially evacuated Tobay Beach after spotting a five-foot shark in water, moving from the east end to the west end of the beach, around noon, authorities said.
