The caller reported a male subject was in the home with a gun. The caller then reported his dad had been shot and the suspect was still in the house. Numerous other calls began coming into the 911 Communication Center concerning an active shooter on Greenwood Dr.<\/p>\n<p>Gaston County Police officers responded to the scene and were confronted outside a residence by a suspect holding a shotgun and wearing a pistol. Gunfire was exchanged between the suspect and officers. During the exchange two officers were wounded and the suspect was fatally wounded.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/218644100&amp;color=ff5500\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Officers also located a victim of a fatal shooting at a second location in the neighborhood.\u00a0 The name of that victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
