SPRINGDALE, Arkansas —\u00a0August 16, 2015 —\u00a0This morning at 0246 Officers responded to 514 Butterfield Coach Road E102. The initial report was that a Hispanic male had attempted suicide.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived they located a Hispanic male inside the apartment that was deceased (stab wounds).<\/p>\n
The victim’s girlfriend, Wanda I. Andaluz-Prado (H, F 12\/3\/70), and other witnesses were questioned about the incident.<\/p>\n
It was soon determined through collection of evidence and witnesses statements that the victim did not harm himself.<\/span><\/p>\n From 5NewsOnline:\u00a0Andaluz-Prado\u00a0claimed that during an argument with the man, he\u00a0picked up a knife and then she left the apartment, according to the report. Andaluz-Prado returned to the apartment shortly after and claimed she found the man dead\u00a0lying on the floor in the kitchen, the report states.<\/em><\/p>\n Detectives interviewed a witness who said she witnessed Andaluz-Prado stab the victim, the report states.<\/em><\/p>\n During an interview with detectives, Andaluz-Prado\u00a0later admitted to stabbing the victim one time and then cleaning the knife and placing it near his body, according to the report.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Prado was arrested and charged with Murder in the 1st Degree and Tampering with evidence.<\/span><\/p>\n
