WASHINGTON — According to a new report by the Associated Press, Hillary Clinton’s\u00a0personal lawyer has told the Senate committee that\u00a0emails and “all other data stored on her computer server were erased before the device was turned over to federal authorities.”<\/p>\n

The story started to break yesterday… Here’s that report: In the ongoing e-mail scandal<\/a> plaguing the Democratic Presidential frontrunner, a new report<\/a> suggests there was an “attempt” to wipe Hillary Clinton’s personal e-mail server clean.<\/p>\n

According to NBC News: “The FBI may<\/a> be able to recover at least some data from Hillary Clinton’s private email server even though there was an attempt to wipe it…”<\/em><\/p>\n

The FBI “will try to figure what’s there, how it got there and who put it there,” one of the sources told NBC News.<\/p>\n

The bombshell<\/a> comes as investigators reviewing Clinton’s emails have flagged more than 300 for further review to determine whether they contained any classified information, according to a court document.<\/p>\n

Clinton again this weekend repeated a brand new defense of her actions, in that she did not send or receive emails “marked classified” at the time.<\/p>\n

In other Hillary server news, The Daily Mail is reporting<\/a> that Clinton’s email firm was run from a loft apartment with its servers in a Denver, Colorado bathroom: —\u00a0The IT company Hilary Clinton chose to maintain her private email account was run from a loft apartment and its servers were housed in the bathroom closet, Daily Mail Online can reveal.<\/em><\/p>\n

Daily Mail Online tracked down ex-employees of Platte River Networks in Denver, Colorado, who revealed the outfit’s strong links to the Democratic Party but expressed shock that the 2016 presidential candidate chose the small private company for such a sensitive job.<\/em><\/p>\n

One, Tera Dadiotis, called it ‘a mom and pop shop’ which was an excellent place to work, but hardly seemed likely to be used to secure state secrets. And Tom Welch, who helped found the company, confirmed the servers were in a bathroom closet.<\/em><\/p>\n

It can also be disclosed that the small number of employees who were aware of the Clinton contract were told to keep it secret. —\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Last Wednesday, her campaign worked to reassure donors and supporters amid the rising controversy over the e-mail issue, The Washington Post reported: In a blast e-mail, the campaign\u2019s communications director, Jennifer Palmieri, said \u201cthis kind of nonsense comes with the territory of running for president.\u201d<\/p>\n

The controversy over Clinton\u2019s e-mail dates to the summer of 2014, when, according to government officials, State Department lawyers realized they didn\u2019t have access to some of her records as they prepared responses to congressional requests related to the 2012 attacks on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
