Whale watchers got a once-in-a-lifetime experience<\/a> off the coast of Nova Scotia, where they saw a humpback whale<\/a> do a backflip straight toward their boat!<\/p>\n

The whale breached dozens of times<\/a> to the delight of the tourists.<\/p>\n

Scientists say<\/a> whales breach for a number of reasons including knocking parasites off, scaring fish to eat and communication.<\/p>\n

But the boaters think the humpback was just having fun.<\/p>\n
