HOUSTON, Texas — A woman dropped off 2 children to fire station 73 in Houston at 3:30 p.m Monday.<\/p>\n
The children were a 9 month and a 2 year old boy.<\/p>\n
According to WEAR, the mother said she got into a fight with the father of one of the boys. He then told her he didn’t want them anymore, so she took the boys to the station.<\/p>\n
The mother told Officials she did not want the children any longer.<\/p>\n
Fire Officials immediately contacted police.<\/p>\n
Police later found the woman and returned her to the station for questioning.<\/p>\n
After questioning, the woman and children were transported to Child protective services.<\/p>\n
The children are too old to fall under the state’s Safe Haven law, which allows parents to drop off a baby 60 days old or younger without legal penalties.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
