MHP says they believe Lamb is driving\u00a0a black Dodge Avenger with Mississippi tag # STF 015.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnewsnow.com\/story\/30025466\/police-gautier-murder-suspect-could-be-linked-to-dsu-active-shooter-situation\">WLOX:<\/a>\u00a0<em>Gautier police spokesman Capt. Jerry Cooksey identified the suspect as 45-year-old Shannon Lamb. According to the DSU website, Lamb is a social science professor at the university.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Detective Matt Hoggatt said Lamb was last seen driving a green SUV. Hoggatt also confirmed a vehicle matching that description was found on the DSU campus Monday morning.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Cooksey said detectives believe Lamb shot and killed a woman he was romantically involved with at a home on Santa Cruz Street. Cooksey said Lamb called police around 10:20 a.m. Monday and reported the murder.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QYXRt1XA468\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Earlier Report: One person is dead and a gunman remains wanted after a shooting at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>Delta State University <a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/developing-active-shooter-reported-at-cleveland-mississippi-university\/\">was on lockdown<\/a> Monday afternoon and an <a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/developing-active-shooter-reported-at-cleveland-mississippi-university\/\">active shooter alert was posted.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The gunman was spotted on campus near Jobe Hall.\u00a0The shooter may still be on campus as police were seen surrounding one building.<\/p>\n<p>A professor <a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/developing-active-shooter-reported-at-cleveland-mississippi-university\/\">was shot and killed<\/a> inside of his office, the Coroner said.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was identified as Ethan A.
