NEW YORK — NYC Emergency Management continues to closely monitor Hurricane Joaquin and has put extensive plans in place to deal with the possible effects of the storm on New York City.<\/p>\n
The latest National Hurricane Center forecast track has Hurricane Joaquin<\/a> passing well off the eastern coast of the United States through early next week. The current forecast shows no direct impact to New York City.<\/p>\n
