{"id":52038,"date":"2015-10-05T11:38:34","date_gmt":"2015-10-05T15:38:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=52038"},"modified":"2015-10-05T11:38:57","modified_gmt":"2015-10-05T15:38:57","slug":"chinese-company-staff-are-forced-to-crawl-in-public-is-they-dont-hit-sales-targets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/chinese-company-staff-are-forced-to-crawl-in-public-is-they-dont-hit-sales-targets\/","title":{"rendered":"Chinese Company Staff Are Forced To Crawl In Public Is They Don&#8217;t Hit Sales Targets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Employees from a Chinese company have now been ordered to crawl on the streets after they failed to make enough sales for their bosses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><span id=\"ext-gen146\">Representatives of the staff told <a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/politics.people.com.cn\/n\/2015\/1003\/c70731-27659210.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">People&#8217;s Daily Online<\/a> that the task was a punishment set by their company because they had failed to hit their sales targets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Incident took place in the middle of the week-long National Day holiday in China when most people don&#8217;t need to work and make long-distance trips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Employees were told to finish a lap around Ruyi Lake, a 23-acre lagoon in the city&#8217;s central business district, by crawling.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">According to eyewitnesses, nearly everyone&#8217;s shirts and trousers were torn during the humiliating punishment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Images of the incident were uploaded to Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, and attracted thousands of comments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52040\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D1A8F6B00000578-0-image-a-18_1444044973579.jpg\" alt=\"2D1A8F6B00000578-0-image-a-18_1444044973579\" width=\"634\" height=\"363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D1A8F6B00000578-0-image-a-18_1444044973579.jpg 634w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D1A8F6B00000578-0-image-a-18_1444044973579-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Chinese media and web users were infuriated by the company&#8217;s physical punishment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">One web user with the screen name of &#8216;3266878185&#8217; posted: &#8216;This is so inhumane.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Another user &#8216;MMMMtinging&#8217; said: &#8216;I&#8217;d quit a company like this a long time ago.
