{"id":53724,"date":"2015-10-19T08:31:04","date_gmt":"2015-10-19T12:31:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=53724"},"modified":"2015-10-19T08:31:28","modified_gmt":"2015-10-19T12:31:28","slug":"two-toddlers-and-their-parents-die-after-their-suv-crashes-into-lake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/two-toddlers-and-their-parents-die-after-their-suv-crashes-into-lake\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Toddlers And Their Parents Die After Their SUV Crashes Into Lake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two children and their parents have tragically died and a third child is in critical condition after their SUV went into a suburban Phoenix lake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Three police officers and a fisherman jumped in and pulled out the 27-year-old father, the 25-year-old mother, a 6-month-old girl and a two-year-old boy from Tempe Town Lake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">All four were taken to the hospital, where the parents and the six-month old died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">After the initial search,\u00a0detectives realized a third child was missing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A514D00000578-0-image-a-43_1445194555681.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-53725\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A514D00000578-0-image-a-43_1445194555681.jpg\" alt=\"2D8A514D00000578-0-image-a-43_1445194555681\" width=\"634\" height=\"357\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A514D00000578-0-image-a-43_1445194555681.jpg 634w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A514D00000578-0-image-a-43_1445194555681-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Divers went to the submerged car and pulled out the body of a three-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Police initially said the two-year-old had died but now say he is in extremely critical condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Police spokesman Michael Pooley says emergency rescuers were called to Tempe Town Lake around 12:15 a.m. Sunday after bystanders saw the SUV enter the lake.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><span id=\"ext-gen36\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-53726\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574.jpg\" alt=\"2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574\" width=\"634\" height=\"475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574.jpg 634w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574-80x60.jpg 80w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574-265x198.jpg 265w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/2D8A546600000578-0-image-a-48_1445194819574-561x420.jpg 561w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\"><span id=\"ext-gen36\">Pooley told<a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kpho.com\/story\/30288827\/pd-4-dead-after-vehicle-drives-into-tempe-town-lake?autostart=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"> KPHO<\/a>: &#8216;It&#8217;s just a horrific scene, a horrific incident,&#8221; Pooley said. &#8220;These are the types of things our officers are going to carry with them for some time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;All the children were buckled into their sea.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">He added: &#8216;We don\u2019t know what caused them to do this. We don\u2019t know what happened. We don\u2019t know really who they are yet.
