A former LA Galaxy star has been left with a hole in his cheek after an e-cigarette exploded without warning.<\/p>\n
Daniel Califf, who also represented the US at the 2000 Olympics suffered a broken cheek and severe burns when the device malfunctioned.<\/p>\n
The 35-year-old former professional soccer player is one of three people in California who are suing companies for supplying the products.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n His lawyer, Greg Bentley of \u00a0told ABC News<\/a>: ‘Nobody expects that you purchase a product that explodes in our face. It’s unconscionable that these products are out there and they’re randomly exploding all across the country.’<\/p>\n Mr Bentley of\u00a0Shernoff Bidart Echeverria Bentley is handling the three cases.<\/p>\n
