ISRAEL — A foreign worker from Nepal, Hisorai Taplaya, was stabbed Sunday morning in a terror attack in Jerusalem.<\/a><\/p>\n

Taplaya, who will be turning 31 on Monday, said that she was waiting for a bus on the capital\u2019s Yermiyahu Street, listening to music with headphones. She said there was no one around to help her as there were not many people on the street at the time of the attack.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe passed by me, a young guy, and he put a knife or something in me,\u201d Taplaya said. \u201cHe ran away and I couldn\u2019t find anyone to help me, so I had to cross the street where there was a bus.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was very scared. First and foremost, I wanted someone to help me,\u201d she said. A bus driver helped Taplaya as she was bleeding heavily from the stab wound to her back and called police and and paramedics to the scene.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sat on the bus and lost a lot of blood,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Taplaya said that based on recent events she had no doubt she had been the victim of a terror attack.<\/a><\/p>\n

She was evacuated to Jerusalem\u2019s Shaare Zedek Medical Center in for medical treatment for moderate wounds.<\/p>\n

A 17-year-old Palestinian resident of the West Bank, was apprehended at a construction site and admitted that he was connected to the incident, according to Israel Police.<\/p>\n
