{"id":60528,"date":"2015-12-15T14:21:47","date_gmt":"2015-12-15T19:21:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=60528"},"modified":"2015-12-15T14:21:48","modified_gmt":"2015-12-15T19:21:48","slug":"dead-children-found-in-calif-storage-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/dead-children-found-in-calif-storage-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"Dead Children Found in California Storage Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>REDDING, California &#8212; Police in Redding are investigating the death of two children whose bodies were found in a storage unit.<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, Tami Joy Huntsman, 39 and 17-year-old Gonzalo Curiel were taken into custody by the Plumas County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>They were booked into the Plumas County Jail on charges of: Felony child abuse, torture and mayhem. The victim\u2019s name is being withheld at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Further investigation ultimately led to the discovery of two deceased children inside of a storage unit in the city of Redding. The two juveniles have not been identified at this time. This case is being investigated as a homicide with an autopsy pending.<\/p>\n<p>The children were aged 3 and 5, KSBW reported.<\/p>\n<p>From <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redding.com\/news\/local\/RPD-Two-kids-found-dead-in-Redding-storage-unit-362392831.html\">Record Searchlight<\/a>: <em>&#8220;Tami Joy Huntsman was an extended relative of the three young victims and may have had temporary custody of them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One girl who was found badly beaten and emaciated is in a Northern California hospital and underwent surgery, according to KSBW.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-60530 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman.jpeg\" alt=\"California -- Police in Redding are investigating the death of two children whose bodies were found in a storage unit.\" width=\"470\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman.jpeg 470w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman-294x300.jpeg 294w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman-356x364.jpeg 356w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/huntsman-411x420.jpeg 411w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>The injured girl and the two children found dead in a storage unit in Redding were siblings.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/j2t5k8q72jE\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Huntsman and Curiel are recent residents of the Salinas area.
