**UPDATE:<\/strong> North Korea says it has conducted a successful hydrogen bomb test<\/a>. The test is the second since Kim Jong Un became supreme leader and began consolidating power through a series of purges and provocations against South Korea, Bloomberg reported.**<\/strong><\/p>\n A 5.1 magnitude earthquake was detected very close to a North Korea nuclear test site, according to the USGS.<\/p>\n There were no immediate signs of a nuclear test… Although, Chinese Earthquake monitors say a ‘suspected explosion’ was detected, the AFP reported.<\/p>\n South Korea’s Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se called for an emergency meeting. “The Foreign Ministry is currently holding a meeting presided over by the minister to immediately determine the situation following the reports,” a ministry official told Yonhap News.<\/p>\n
