NASHVILLE \u2013 An investigation by Special Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in a Montgomery County man facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, in connection with a 2015 shooting involving Humphreys County deputies.<\/p>\n
On November 11, 2015, at the request of 23rd District Attorney General Ray Crouch, TBI Special Agents began investigating an officer-involved shooting off Highway 13 in Waverly. Deputies with the Humphreys County Sheriff\u2019s Office were sent to a motorist assist call and encountered Brian Michael Bric fleeing from the scene into the woods. The investigation revealed that while in the woods, Bric pointed a weapon at the officers and officers fired at Bric. Bric was struck multiple times and hospitalized. No deputies were injured.<\/p>\n
