Detectives identified the three assailants involved and charged two with the man\u2019s death. 37-year old Raul Ruiz\u00a0pushed the victim outside causing the victim to strike his head on the ground asphalt. 42- year old Adrian\u00a0Chavez then continued assaulting the victim as he lay on the parking lot. The victim sustained life-threatening\u00a0injuries to which he succumbed on January 28, six days after the assault.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, January 22nd 2016, the victim was with his girlfriend at the \u201cEl Patron Sports Bar\u201d located at 5622 E. Paisano. After being at the bar for a short while, three men approached the couple. One of the men began to call out the victim. During this time, the victim got up and was pushed by one of the men. The three men pushed and pulled the victim out of the bar. Once outside of the bar, the victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/5M4tFHS1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66327\" src=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/5M4tFHS1.jpg\" alt=\"5M4tFHS1\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" srcset=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/5M4tFHS1.jpg 560w, https:\/\/breaking911.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/5M4tFHS1-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The third man was involved in the\u00a0initial verbal altercation but did not physically assault the victim. Ruiz is an El Paso firefighter assigned to\u00a0station #18.
