{"id":66705,"date":"2016-02-13T11:17:26","date_gmt":"2016-02-13T16:17:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=66705"},"modified":"2016-02-13T11:17:26","modified_gmt":"2016-02-13T16:17:26","slug":"new-york-teenager-has-his-arm-ripped-off-after-theft-attempt-goes-wrong","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/new-york-teenager-has-his-arm-ripped-off-after-theft-attempt-goes-wrong\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH: New York Teenager Has His Arm Ripped Off After Theft Attempt Goes Wrong"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) A father-of-three has now been charged with attempted murder after he ran over a gun-wielding thug who stole a pair of sneakers, which resulted in ripping the teenagers arm off.<\/p>\n<p>Phillip Pierre, aged 39, arranged to meet Zachary Sam, aged 17, in Brooklyn on Friday in order to buy a pair of $190 Air Jordan sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>Police say Sam climbed into Pierre&#8217;s Honda Pilot, pulled out a revolver and and took the sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>CCTV footage of the incident shows Pierre making a U-turn and driving at Sam as he was walking on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n<p>ABC reports that Sam left his hand at the scene, along with the gun, footage also shows his sleeve flapping as he runs.<\/p>\n<p>The teenager them manages to climb on to a bus further down the street.<\/p>\n<p>The driver stopped the bus, allowing Pierre to catch up who held Sam until the police arrived.<\/p>\n<p>The NYPD have confirmed that when he has recovered he will be charged over the armed theft.<\/p>\n<p>Pierre has also been arrested and charged with attempted murder.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/launch.newsinc.com\/?type=VideoPlayer\/Single&amp;widgetId=1&amp;trackingGroup=69016&amp;siteSection=nydailynews-new-york&amp;videoId=30343817\" width=\"791\" height=\"445\" frameborder=\"no\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) A father-of-three has now been charged with attempted murder after he ran over a gun-wielding thug who stole a pair of sneakers, which resulted in ripping the teenagers arm off.
