They reported last seeing the child in the backyard of their home where some family members were watching her.<\/p>\n<p>Officers arrived three minutes after the initial 911 call and were told the child had been found in a retention pond near the home.<\/p>\n<p>Officer Tyler Keating reached the child first and discovered she was not breathing and had no pulse.<\/p>\n<p>After quickly calling medics, Officer Keating started CPR and then reported she now had a pulse and shallow breathing.<\/p>\n<p>Medics arrived and took over treatment, taking the now crying girl to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment. -SPD<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEATTLE &#8212; A Southwest Precinct Officer rescued a two-year-old girl Saturday after she was found in a retention pond near her West Seattle home.
