{"id":73355,"date":"2016-04-14T21:45:35","date_gmt":"2016-04-15T01:45:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=73355"},"modified":"2016-04-14T21:46:00","modified_gmt":"2016-04-15T01:46:00","slug":"border-agents-perform-life-saving-medical-aid-on-traveler-with-no-pulse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/border-agents-perform-life-saving-medical-aid-on-traveler-with-no-pulse\/","title":{"rendered":"Border Agents Perform Life-Saving Medical Aid on Traveler With No Pulse"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN DIEGO \u2014 U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/mexican-teen-nabbed-at-border-with-5500-rounds-of-ammunition\/\">Customs and Border Protection officers<\/a> at the Otay Mesa port of entry Monday performed life-saving medical aid on a traveler who arrived at the border crossing without a pulse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany of our CBP officers are trained medical first responders, because the reality of being at the border of the U.S. is that we are on the front line of all kinds of different situations,\u201d said Pete Flores, Director of Field Operations for the San Diego Field Office. \u201cIn this instance, I am glad that we were able to assist this traveler in distress until medical personnel arrived.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On April 11, at about 9 a.m., a father and son arrived at the border crossing in a black Toyota Solara.
