VIRGINIA — (News Release \/ Fairfax Co. Police \/ Fair Oaks Police District) \u2013 Police responded to a report of an assault that took place around 9:40 p.m. at a Dunkin Donuts, located at 2946 Chain Bridge Road.<\/p>\n
An investigation determined that a group of teenagers had previously been given donuts that would be discarded at the close of business each day.<\/p>\n
They went to the store on Monday, July 25 and requested more donuts.<\/p>\n
The employee initially refused several times but told them to return later and he would give them some. Prior to sharing the donuts, he allegedly sprayed them with a cleaning solution that contained bleach.<\/p>\n
The juveniles ingested anywhere from one bite to a whole donut. When they realized the food may have been tainted, they contacted police.<\/p>\n
No one required medical attention. A criminal investigation was launched and is ongoing.<\/p>\n
