OREGON — Officials were responding to a HAZMAT situation at Portland International Airport on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

According to KION, a white substance was discovered while someone was unloading bags from a flight from Atlanta.<\/p>\n

The white powder was later determined to be baking powder, the station reported.<\/p>\n

Portland International Airport is a joint civil-military airport and the largest airport in the U.S. state of Oregon, accounting for 90 percent of passenger travel and more than 95 percent of air cargo of the state.<\/p>\n
