WATCH: (Scroll Down For Video) WAYNE, West Virginia — A pair of dogs that were left in a car with the engine still running crashed it into a Walmart, police said on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Local resident Ryan Estep told WSAZ: \u2018I didn\u2019t know dogs could drive.<\/p>\n

\u2018Dogs can be your best friend, and in this situation, they can be your enemy, too.\u2019<\/p>\n

Asked how he would react if he saw a dog driving towards him, he said: \u2018I would laugh for sure but then I would be like, \u2018oh wow, dogs can drive.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

Their owner, a women in her late 70s, was able to drive the car home after the incident.<\/p>\n

Shoppers told WSAZ, they were surprised when they saw a dog driving the car.<\/p>\n

The owner of the dogs said that she left the engine running so that the dogs could use the air conditioning.<\/p>\n
