Hudak. \u201cThe security of this nation is our top priority.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 13, Juan Francisco Martinez-Berrones, 21, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, was apprehended by Eagle Pass Border Patrol agents near Eagle Pass. During processing, agents discovered that Martinez-Berrones was convicted of sexual assault of a child-fondling, a second degree felony, in San Antonio. Martinez-Berrones was sentenced to five years probation and fined $1,500 and was then removed to Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 15, Hector Napoleon-Diaz, 35, an undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was apprehended by Carrizo Springs Border Patrol agents near Carrizo Springs. During processing, agents discovered that Napoleon-Diaz was convicted of felony rape in Lexington, Kentucky and was removed to Honduras.<\/p>\n<p>Martinez-Berrones and Napoleon-Diaz each face a charge of illegal re-entry after deportation &#8211; 8 USC \u00a7 1326 \u2013 which carries a possible sentence up to 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The Del Rio Border Patrol Sector is part of the Joint Task Force-West South Texas Corridor, which leverages federal, state and local resources to combat transnational criminal organizations.
